The SOMARES Institute develops actions of environmental education, civic education and scientific dissemination aimed at schools, communities, public institutions and different segments of society.
Through lectures, workshops, and educational activities, we address topics such as sustainability, waste, biodiversity, human rights, socio-environmental justice, environmental racism, territory, and social participation.
The activities are designed to bring scientific knowledge closer to people's reality, transforming technical topics into accessible content connected to the concrete challenges of each territory.
We also promote career guidance and foster closer ties between science, education, and society, demonstrating how different fields of knowledge can contribute to building environmental and social solutions.
